I just started in the wedding photography business so this was a really nice surprise! The engagement shoot I did for cartoonist Manix Abrera and writer Melay Lapena was featured in Bridal Book!!! OMG, I'm just so happy! :)

I'm still finalizing my wedding website/blog, watch out for it! :)

real living magazine feature
My creative space was featured in the October 2011 issue of Real Living magazine because of my blog Anik-Anik Love. They featured the work spaces of four lifestyle bloggers. :)

I sent copies of my portfolio to magazines, TV networks, and advertising agencies... I hope this works. :)

dr. sketchy's anti-art school manila
Attended my first Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School session in Manila. It's an alternative drawing session with bare-bodied models, booze, and lots of art. Since I couldn't draw, I took pictures instead. :)
Check out the slideshow we did about the alt art session for GMA-7: Art and sexy schoolgirls at Dr. Sketchy's Philippines!

dream, paper, dream
A piece I did for a group exhibit about paper cranes entitled Dream, Paper, Dream at Vinyl on Vinyl early this year. I'm proud to say it was the first artwork sold at the exhibit opening. :D

rico blanco
I have always been a fan of the local band Rivermaya since college. So I was really excited when Men's Health magazine commissioned me to take a portrait of former Rivermaya front-man, and now solo artist, Rico Blanco. I was trying to keep it cool while shooting the musician, but I was just so happy I couldn't stop smiling. :) Wanting to keep the photos raw, I just opted to use my ever reliable Canon speedlite... rock and raw!
